I am currently pondering the postcard sets that I want to get printed by MOO and I've decided there's going be a Leipzig at Night postcard set. This is one of the pictures I might use, cause I really like it.

Next week I have two event photography gigs and the week after that I'm going on a trip to the Black Forest. Wohoo. After that I have a three day event on which I'm going to photograph for the Kreatives Leipzig club. More on it next week.

On the Spring cleaning of my pantry, I'm making progress. I've finished off one sort of tea and thrown out a lot of the old spices. But I haven't bought anything new so far, which means the spice rack is finally looking orderly again. I love it.

Happy Memories For Chris and moi: 2nd post - Vertigo inducing Windows

Since Chris asked me to post a few more Leipzig photos this week because she is so homesick for Leipzig, I created this post series for her. I hope this comforts you a bit.

For the second post I chose our night photography tour. It was such fun and I learned a lot about my cameras. For these shots I wished I had a tilting display or any display at all on my F90. But I didn't so I had to contort my body into a really uncomfortable position to get these long exposure shots, for which I used a tripod.

Friday + September = Chances for fantastic nightshots abound

In Leipzigs Messehof-Passage, there is this column with the ring of colour-changing light around it. Which makes it a fantastic object of photographic experiments.

Good morning. I wish you all a wonderful new week.

"The world is, what you think it is."* So make it as you wish it to be. I think the world is beautiful, colorful and joyful. And you know what?! The world proves this to me over and over and over again. Day by day. Yesterday it was raining, however at sunset the sun was a red blaze under the clouds it was almost otherworldly. I didn't take a pic, since it was pouring. Still, I'm grateful that I could see this amazing view.

* It's a quote but I'm not sure who said it first.

At night all the lights are green

Or at least it seems like this on my Leipzig at Night photos. This is the staircase of the new university building. When I found this pic in the envelope (film is often better) I was quite surprised, because I didn't remember any green lighting. Well, the effect is cool though.

This day starts out good, I have found that my horoscope is fantastic (I only believe in it when it is fantastic ;) The weather is nice too and I will have a very yummy lunch at my parents. And I have time to draw a big picture today, literally. In any case I've decided to open an etsy.com shop too and I've already registrated (but not the shop).

Way back in last August Chris and I were doing our nightshots in Leipzig, and we had tons of fun during these few hours. This is one of the few pictures taken with the Lomo that worked out. Since I can't screw the Lomo Fisheye 2 on a tripod, I always need to find something to steady it on for long exposures. In this case I took the wall.

This is the shop with the silverware, lot's of beautiful things, which make a girl dream (or gay men with the good and expensive taste).

By the way, I'll get a new "camera" today. My old cell phone (Motorola MOTO u9 and I LOVED it, old Trekkie that I am ;) broke a few weeks back and yesterday I succumbed and ordered a new one via Amazon. My new Samsung was shipped yesterday by Amazon Leipzig (funny, eh?) and should arrive today. Now all I need to do is buy a Micro SD Card (planned for next week) and I can provide all of us with new and some kind of lomographic pictures.

Still wrapped, but the new light already shines through

I'm changing more and more. And that feels sooooo good. I suddenly prefer Dance and Rock music instead of singer/songwriter (the slow stuff like Colby Caillat, Josh Rouse and so on). Since yesterday evening I'm totally into Dance music and dance around my flat. I really had to pressure myself to put my iPod down, stop dancing and dress this morning!!! It took three serious commands to myself to make me do that. ;D

And what's more, I'll finally change my hairstyle, after one year of having roughly the same cut (unusually long time for me). It is time to move on and put something up to balance my dressy clothes.
